Week 4 - Term 2 2018 Yesterday we had a wonderful opportunity to meet some special visitors from Ghana. They entertained us with traditional music and dancing and we learnt about their musical instruments. We thoroughly enjoyed the interactive performance and had fun playing the instruments and dancing with our visitors, friends and teachers.

Week 3 - Term 2 2018   Hi everyone, Last week we celebrated Primary Science week with a variety of hands on activities and experiences. Some children made a wizard's brew using vinegar, food colouring, glitter, washing up liquid and baking soda. We watched closely and observed chemical reactions happening before our eyes. We have also been talking about Hawaii's Mount Kilauea volcano which has been erupting since the beginning of May. This has resulted in lots of discussions about the molten lava that has been spreading across Hawaii's Big Island. We decided to create our own volcanic eruption using some of the above ingredients, and while it didn't exactly go according to plan, it was lovely to see the children's anticipation and wonder on their faces. Olivia also made her own volcano at home and brought it into class to share. She used a slightly different method to our previous one and she was very successful. Please hope you enjoy ou

Our nurses set up a first aid camp and designed their own red cross emblems. They attended to their patients with care and compassion and were very gentle when using the bandages. We were very fortunate to have some actual memorabilia brought into class this week and we thank Freya's family very much for giving the
