Week 10 - Term 2 2018

Wearable Arts and Creativity Expo

We have had a busy few weeks preparing for our
Wearable Arts and Creativity Expo.

The children worked well together in their investigation groups, where they planned and designed costumes for their mannequins and explored and created ways to use recycled materials.

The children showed their creativity in other ways too - from making 2D and 3D shapes
using tooth picks, to creating Hundertwasser artwork inspired by
a book called Wibbly Wobbly Street.

Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, friends and whānau who attended our wearable arts and creativity expo last Friday. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing you and it was wonderful to see the children share their learning with you.
If you were not able to attend, please enjoy looking at our photos to see the learning that has been happening in our class over the past few weeks. We are so very proud of all our children and are amazed at their creativity and passion for the arts.
